is a neurologistwith a practice focused on nerve, muscle, and spine disorders, as well as on balance disorders and fall prevention. In 2018 he was a launch team member of the Providence Pacific Brain Health Center in Santa Monica, California, where he works alongside a team of neurologists (including his wife Dr. Verna Porter), psychiatrists, psychologists, and a physical therapist to develop novel multidisciplinary care programs for individuals with neurologic disorders and their families. He has partnered with a local senior day center to begin spiritually focused support groups for those with dementia and their families and is developing additional faith-based outreach programs. He and Verna met at a local Methodist church and have three teenage and young adult sons.
