Laquanda Leaven, PhD, 2015-2016
is pursuing a Master of Arts in Christian Studies (’16). Her interests are in the intersection of theology and healthcare as it relates to end of life care decision making, and applying AHP/ANP Models to improve the end of life care decision making process. She also has a desire to see more spiritual based hospice centers developed, which include teams of medical professionals, spiritual leaders, and family members that come together to create a care plan that is in the best interests of patients. Laquanda has a B.S.E. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Michigan Ann-Arbor, a M.S and Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering with a concentration in Operations Research and Supply Chain Management from North Carolina A&T State University. She is currently a Professor of Supply Chain Management in the School of Business and Economics at North Carolina A&T State University.
