is a professor of nursing and serves as Director of Nursing Research & Development at Lubbock Christian University. She has worked in youth health promotion for the past 25 years and is the Program Director for Vocati: A Youth Theology Institute. She is married to Dr. Jesse Long, Endowed Professor of Old Testament and Archaeology. They have two daughters, sons-in-law, and three spirited grandsons.
