Jacob Blythe, 2015-2016

is from Colorado Springs, CO, and graduated from Baylor University in May of 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in University Scholars and is applying to both MD and MD-PhD programs while completing a Master of Arts in Christian Studies (MACS ’16).

Jacob’s interests have always hovered around the intersections between medicine, religion, literature, and philosophy, and the Duke Divinity School is particularly well suited for continued exploration at these intersection points.

Jacob finds that the TMC Fellowship provides both the space and structure to continue to think critically about the role of medicine in human life, as well as the time to seek a better understanding of his role in this enterprise as both an aspiring physician and a Christian.
