is currently a surgical resident at Rutgers University in Newark, New Jersey. She studied business management and international business as an undergraduate at Texas A&M University and received her MD from Texas A&M College of Medicine. She plans to pursue a trauma/critical care fellowship after residency with hopes to serve as a trauma surgeon in war zones. Her experiences in Palestine have shaped her “why” for becoming a surgeon, her theology, and her love for shawarma. When outside of the hospital, she enjoys attending live music events, challenging people to dance offs, strolling every aisle at Costco, writing, and hiking.
