is an MTS student and medical student at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, she has enjoyed living in Durham area and exploring local trails and farmers’ markets. As an undergrad, Emmy majored in biochemistry at Yale University and was involved in educational outreach activities. She tutors for medical school exams and considers herself a lifelong learner. Divinity school has helped her to see that flourishing in physical and spiritual health comes about through community.
