is a practicing dermatologist at Blue Ridge Dermatology Associates in Raleigh, NC and has lived and worked in this area for nearly 30 years. She has a particular interest in skin cancer prevention, detection, and treatment and considers her patients to be like family. She has attended Apostles Raleigh since it started in 2001. Involvement with JourneyMates Ministry has been profoundly important to her daily life over the past 16 years. In May of 2023, she received a Master of Public Health at UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health; during her studies there, she became interested in the intersection of faith and public health and hopes to learn more through Duke TMC. Carrie has been gratefully married to Andy Alspaugh for 35 years, and they both love being parents of three daughters.
