Benjamin Ashby

came to to Duke Divinity School in an effort to strengthen his personal relationship with God, prepare for a career that tries to create small pockets of God’s kingdom on Earth, and prepare to one day adopt or intimately care for individuals with disabilities as a part of his family. He loves participating in worship, either as part of the band or by singing badly from the pews. He cares deeply for animals and the environment, and tries to spend most of his free time in nature. He’s originally from Nebraska, studied biomedical engineering at Georgia Tech, and is finishing up medical school at UNC.
