2016 Duke-Oxford Workshop in Practical Ethics

Sponsored by The Trent Center for Bioethics, Humanities & History of Medicine.

A distinguished team of researchers from the Uehiro Centre for Practical Ethics in Oxford visits Duke to explore related themes at the intersection of the ethical evaluation of medical interventions, the role of medicine in society, and the value of individuals in society. This two day workshop is the second leg of a ‘home and away’ workshop exchange.

The workshop is free and open to faculty, students, and the public.  The workshop will take place at the Great Hall, Trent Semans Center for Health Education at Duke University Medical Center. For more information: trent-center@duke.edu or 919 668-9000
