Prof. Farr Curlin, MD of Duke University gave a lecture titled “Making Sense of ‘Death with Dignity’ on November 14 with the Thomistic Institute chapter at the University of South Carolina. Dr. Curlin practices Palliative Medicine in Durham, NC. He is also a Josiah C. Trent Professor of Medical Humanities and Co-Director of the Theology, Medicine, and Culture Initiative (TMC) at Duke University.
