2016 Duke-Oxford Workshop in Practical Ethics

Presented by the Lester Crown University Professorship in Ethics, in collaboration with the
Trent Center for Bioethics, Humanities & History of Medicine

A distinguished team of researchers from the Uehiro Centre for Practical Ethics in Oxford visits Duke to explore related themes at the intersection of the ethical evaluation of medical interventions, the role of medicine in society, and the value of individuals in society. This two day workshop is the second leg of a ‘home and away’ workshop exchange.
